Hoops are solid sterling silver and I personally would not call them heavy but I do feel they are best suited for someone who isn’t particularly sensitive to a little weight in their ears.

Earrings are 2.5 inches in total length from post to bottom of hoop. Hoop part alone is about 2 inches in length.
